According to the plan, only light exercise is suggested. Too strenuous exercise supposedly burns carbs and not fat. So a brisk walk of either 2- 30 minutes sessions or 1 45 minute session each day is what you are supposed to complete.
I have just completed a 45 minute session on a treadmill. I walked 2.5 miles and burned almost 260 calories. I set the speed at 3.5 miles per hour. It was enough to make me sweat, but not feel tired or winded.
